Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she took flute lessons and the harpsichord over three years. The money she earned came from the student allowance, and relied off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox did not feel content with her performance compared with the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work for Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. Commercially and critically it was a huge success. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. Following a modest recognition as part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992, with an album titled Diva. It included a number of famous songs like the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa, a 1995 studio album, features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums and the compilation album have a lot of songs.
