Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox attended the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord scholar and flute for three complete years. The budget of her was augmented by a student's allowance, and she worked part-time to pay for her expenses. Lennox felt that her skills did not match those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox began her career with a band in 1976. with the group Dragons Playground. However she left when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the lead voice of The Tourists, a British pop group. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later be part of Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva in the year 1992. As a commercial album as well as critically it was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo which was released in October of 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox dropped in May 2019. This E.P. will be a part of her exhibit at The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled Now I Let You Go... Her first independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish social activist, politician and musician and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international popularity as Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992, with the release of her first album Diva, which featured many hit songs, including the hit songs Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of such songs as The No MoreI I Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums as well as her compilation album have several songs.
