Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over three years. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 in a band called Dragons Playground. The group didn't appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was the vocalist in The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own first album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It was an enormous achievement with regard to selling and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from early childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. This E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to her art work designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva produced many successful songs, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features covers of No MoreI Love Yous or The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself as well as a compilation.
